Today we decorated our gingerbread houses. I was smarter this year and bought the pre-assembled houses. We saved a lot of time by doing that and the girls didn’t get bored before they even got to decorate the house. Mckenzie spent about half her time licking the frosting off her fingers and the other half asking if she could try to candy, but somehow managed to get her decorated. Abby wanted hers to match the photo on the box exactly, but finally warmed up to the idea that it was okay to make it her own. (She is our little rule follower and if the box shows a picture, than that must be the right way).
