158/365 {abandoned}
I don’t know what it is, but there is something about this place that catches my eye every time I drive past. I finally stopped to snap a photo today. The bright blue skies are in stark contrast to the dull brown earth.
I took the girls on a run today. Mckenzie struggled with running a mile, but she did it. Abby seems to enjoy running and was way ahead of the rest of us

149/365 {blue morpho butterflies}
We took the kids to visit the Blue Morpho Butterflies at the Butterfly house in St. Louis today. There were thousands of butterflies floating in the air. Scott and I thought it was pretty cool. Unfortunately, it kind of freaked the girls out. They didn’t like how the butterflies were all around them (you can’t tell in my photos because it seems like every time I tried to get a snap with the butterflies near the kids, the darn things disappeared!).

114/365 {zoo}
The weather was nice enough to check out the zoo in St. Louis. It was a nice place and the best part is that it is free! And we found street parking so we saved some money there too! For the most part, Cooper hung out in his stroller and didn’t seem all that interested in the animals when he could see them. The girls really liked the zoo. It was one of our favorite things to do in Philadelphia and I am glad we are so close to another zoo. Abby really wanted to see the penguins, but the exhibit is closed for renovations.
These sea lions were fast so I was happy that I at least got a photo of the girls watching one swim right behind them. They were both a little surprised and excited that one came so close!
This camel was so gross with all his spit on his face, but both girls wanted their photo in front of him! (At least he wasn’t as gross as the male zebra. Let’s just say he got shot down in front of many zoo goers)

112/365 {raindrops}
Mother Nature can’t seem to make up her mind. One day its raining and the next we are getting snow. I can’t to put the cold weather behind and welcome in Spring

Even though Scott isn’t supposed to buy me anything for Valentine’s Day, every year he comes home with a half dozen roses I can’t complain as it gives me a chance to play around with my macro lens.
101/365 {Snowflake}
I have been wanting to capture a snowflake for the longest time. We had a few flakes fly today so I thought I would give it another try and I’m pretty happy with this one.
